The former head of the temporary detention center of the Pyt-Yakha Department of Internal Affairs, Vadim Krasov, was caught driving drunk on Police Day after receiving a veteran’s award. A source close to law enforcement agencies reported this to URA.RU.
“On November 10, Krasov was invited to the Pyt-Yakh Department of Internal Affairs to present a veteran’s award. He served in the internal affairs bodies for almost 20 years. Later that day, he was stopped by traffic police while driving a car. The ex-silovik refused to undergo a medical examination. After which a protocol was drawn up, and Krasov was removed from driving,” the insider said.
The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug confirmed to the agency’s correspondent the information about the identification of a drunk driver. However, the department refused to disclose who exactly they were talking about due to the ban on the disclosure of personal data.
Earlier, URA.RU wrote that the head of the Pyt-Yakh city department had to resolve a conflict with the participation of his subordinates on Police Day. The security forces had an argument in one of the local cafes.
