The ex-governor of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug Neelov came to Salekhard for the Day of the Reindeer Breeder. URA.RU insider confirmed

For the annual Day of the Reindeer Breeder in Salekhard, the ex-governor of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug Yuri Neyelov came. This is reported by the correspondent of URA.RU from the scene.

“Yuri Neelov is present at the celebration,” the correspondent reports. Neelov was the governor of the district from 1994 to 2010 (his successor in this post was Dmitry Kobylkin), after which he became a senator of the Federation Council until September 2018.

Earlier, URA.RU insiders said that political elites would come to Salekhard for the Reindeer Breeder’s Day. The participation of the former governors of the district, Yuri Neelov and Dmitry Kobylkin, was announced. The governor of the Tyumen region, Alexander Moor, was also sent an invitation, but the presence was in doubt, because he had previously attended the holiday in Nadym.
