The European University in St. Petersburg was suspected of participating in the activities of an undesirable organization

The European University in St. Petersburg amounted to two protocol on participation in the activities of an undesirable organization (20.33 Code of Administrative Offences). The case materials were received by the Dzerzhinsky District Court of the city, and Mediazona (announced a foreign agent in the Russian Federation) drew attention to this. Court dates have not yet been set. Repeated violation of this article may result in criminal charges.

In May, the prosecutor’s office conducted an unscheduled inspection of the activities of the European University. Its main subject was the implementation of legislation on education, Kommersant was told at the university. Rosobrnadzor denied any involvement in the inspection. In October, the Prosecutor General’s Office declared the Central European University in Austria (CEU) undesirable.
