Russian special operation in Ukraine
The Ukrainian Armed Forces do not send Western tanks to the front lines, since Russian forces easily destroy them. This was announced by Ian Gagin, adviser to the head of the DPR Denis Pushilin. According to him, tanks from the West are used in a closed firing position.
“As soon as the Armed Forces of Ukraine began to lose the “foreign cars” transferred by their owners from NATO, in such monstrous quantities <...> naturally, they began to save them <...> The owners asked to save this particular equipment, not to push it forward,” Gagin said in conversation with Radio Sputnik. According to him, Russia easily destroys Western tanks with the help of Soviet weapons.
Gagin noted that the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost a large number of soldiers during the counteroffensive. He stressed that Ukraine cannot organize full-fledged assaults due to a lack of fighters.
It was previously reported that American Abrams tanks arrived in Ukraine several months earlier than expected. The head of Ukrainian intelligence, Kirill Budanov, noted that the Abrams “will not last long” on the front line.
