The exchange rates of the US dollar and the euro fall on the Moscow Exchange on June 14. The dollar has already fallen below 56 rubles for the first time since May 25, the euro – below 58 rubles for the first time since that date.
The US dollar exchange rate was 55.79 rubles at 14.58, which is 1.02 rubles lower than the closing level of the previous trading session. At the same time, the euro cost 57.99 rubles, dropping by 2.12 rubles. The value of the dual-currency basket decreased by 1.51 rubles to 56.83 rubles.
According to Interfax-CEA experts, the ruble turned up against the dollar and increased its growth rates against the euro against the backdrop of rising oil prices and the start of preparations for exporting companies for the June tax period.
