The death toll in the explosion in the shopping center of Yerevan increased to 14 people


The number of victims recorded as a result of an explosion in a shopping center in Yerevan has increased to 14 people. The relevant information is provided by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia on its official website.

It is known that the explosion in the Surmalu shopping center in Yerevan took place on August 14. According to preliminary data, the incident took place in a warehouse of pyrotechnic materials. Earlier it was reported that 11 people died as a result of the incident, but the number of victims increased to 14.

“As a result of search and rescue operations, the bodies of 14 dead were found,” follows from the publication of the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations.

Earlier it was reported that during the explosion in Yerevan, many citizens were missing. There is also one Russian among them.
