The court in the Russian Federation for the first time will consider the case against a fighter of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on violence against civilians

For the first time in Russia, a criminal case will be considered against a fighter of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Anton Cherednik on charges of murder and training in terrorist activities. This was reported by the press service of the Southern District Military Court.

“Anton Cherednik is charged with Art. 278 “Forcible Seizure of Power”, Part 1 of Art. 356 “Ill-treatment of the civilian population, the use of prohibited means and methods in an armed conflict”, Part 2 of Art. 105 “Murder”, Art. 205.3 of the Criminal Code Russian Federation “Training for the purpose of carrying out terrorist activities” – leads TASS message court.

The case will be considered in the general order. The court will also examine the materials of the case against Denis Muryga, a member of the Aidar National Battalion*. He is charged under Part 2 of Art. 208 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Participation in an armed formation not provided for by federal law, for purposes contrary to the interests of the Russian Federation” and Art. 205.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Training for the purpose of carrying out terrorist activities.”
