The court arrested in absentia student Krivtsova who fled from Russia

The Primorsky District Court of the Arkhangelsk Region arrested in absentia a student of the Northern (Arctic) Federal University (NarFU) Olesya Krivtsova (included in the list of extremists and terrorists), who left the Russian Federation, accused of discrediting the armed forces of the Russian Federation and justifying terrorism. Kommersant was informed about this in the press service of the Arkhangelsk Regional Court.

“The request of the investigator is satisfied. The court ruled on the choice of a measure of restraint in the form of arrest, since the previously chosen measure of restraint – house arrest – was violated“,– said the press service.

Olesya Krivtsova was detained at the end of December 2022. The student was accused of discrediting the army because of the repost in the chat of classmates and comments on the social network under the post about the explosion on the Crimean bridge.

The Primorsky District Court of Arkhangelsk first chose Olesya Krivtsova a preventive measure in the form of a ban on certain actions, and since the beginning of January, the girl has been under house arrest. The train tickets bought in the name of Olesya Krivtsova served as the reason for tightening the preventive measure.

NArFU students who intended to write a denunciation against her may allegedly be involved in the criminal case. Now they appear in the criminal case in the status of witnesses. March 15 Olesya Krivtsova reported in her Telegram channel that she left the country and is now in Lithuania. The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia put her on the federal wanted list.
