Previously, Parlamentskaya Gazeta looked into the cost of summer holidays in 2023. The cost of trips in Russia depends on the comfort of living, the popularity of the destination and additional conditions. Among the inexpensive, ascetic, but beautiful options are hiking. A week-long trip through the mountains of the Caucasus, Altai or the Urals, to Karelia or the Kola Peninsula in the summer of 2023 will cost around 20 thousand rubles, excluding the road. This will require a travel backpack, a sleeping bag and a mat.
