The Commissioner for Children’s Rights in the Moscow Region, Ksenia Mishonova, supported the proposal of State Duma Vice Speaker Boris Chernyshov on the need to allow retaking the exam not in a year, but in the summer of the year it is held. A letter with the initiative was sent to the Minister of Education of Russia Sergey Kravtsov.

“All children react differently to stress, for some, the very atmosphere of the exam, cameras, screening, etc., puts them into a stupor or even causes a panic attack. Understanding that a graduate has a chance to rewrite will definitely reduce the level of stress, ”Mishonova emphasized.

She proposed to provide the opportunity to retake the exam within two weeks after the results.

Earlier, the governor of the Moscow region Andrey Vorobyov said that in the summer it is necessary to strengthen control over the safety of children’s recreation.
