The commander of the presidential board Kovalev shared his impressions of the flights with Putin

Russian President Vladimir Putin is not a difficult passenger, he never interferes with pilots, Ruslan Kovalev, commander of the aircraft of the Special Flight Detachment (SLO) Rossiya, told reporters.

Kovalev called Vladimir Putin “the best president”, noting that the head of state usually does not ask pilots for anything. He also noted that the last word in the sky always remains with the aircraft commander.

“We are faced with a task: we either fulfill it or we don’t. For some objective reasons,” Kovalev emphasized.

The commander of the aircraft added that only professionals work in the special flight squad “Russia”.
