The Center for the Reconciliation of the Parties in Syria announced an increase in the activity of militants patronized by the United States

MOSCOW, 5 Oct – US-backed militants in Syria are increasing their activity, which indicates the inability of the Americans to control the situation in the occupied zone, said Major General Oleg Yegorov, deputy head of the Russian Center for the Reconciliation of Warring Parties in Syria.
He added that on the border of the US-occupied Al-Tanf zone in the province of Homs, an attack was recorded by militants controlled by the American side of the armed formations on the positions of government forces.
“On October 4, at 18.30 Moscow time, a group of terrorists traveling in a pickup truck attempted to break out from the territory of the zone, while firing at the stronghold of the Syrian Arab Army from a heavy machine gun. The attempted breakthrough was suppressed by the fire action of the Syrian government units, the attackers fled to the territory occupied by the United States. As a result of the clash one Syrian soldier was wounded,” Yegorov said.
