The cause of a fatal accident with a car on fire on Zubovsky Boulevard in Moscow was running a red light. About it informed press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for the capital.
“According to preliminary data, the driver of a foreign car was driving along Zubovskaya Street and at the intersection with the Garden Ring drove out at a prohibitory traffic light,” the message says.
It is also indicated that the Mercedes driver tried to avoid a collision with a taxi car. However, he lost control and flew into the wall of a residential building, after which the foreign car caught fire. The driver and the woman in the car died on the spot from their injuries. Three more women and three men with injuries of varying severity were taken to the hospital. The circumstances of the accident are established.
