The case of a Chelyabinsk man who stabbed his wife to death and wounded his baby was brought to court

The criminal case against a resident of Magnitogorsk (Chelyabinsk region), who killed his wife and seriously wounded his child, was sent to court. URA.RU was informed about this on September 28 by the press service of the regional prosecutor’s office.

“An indictment in a criminal case against a resident of Magnitogorsk has been approved. He is accused under point “d” of part 2 of article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (murder committed with particular cruelty), part 3 of article 30, also points “a”, “c”, “e” of part 2 of article 105 of the criminal code of the Russian Federation (attempted murder two persons and a minor, committed with particular cruelty). The case has been sent to the regional court for consideration,” the department said.

The incident occurred on November 17, 2022. During a domestic dispute, a man stabbed his wife and three-month-old child. After which the man tried to commit suicide. The child’s mother died on the spot. The local police officer who arrived on the scene neutralized the accused and saved the baby’s life. Investigators inspected the apartment where everything happened and collected evidence.
