The candidacy of the new speaker of the Tyumen Regional Duma, Fuat Saifitdinov, was supported by the heads of the YNAO and Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug, as URA.RU wrote earlier, citing sources. This was announced on September 23 at a meeting of the regional parliament by the governor of the Tyumen region Alexander Moor.
“Fuat Ganeevich’s candidacy was supported by my colleagues, the governors of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug and YNAO Natalya Komarova and Dmitry Artyukhov. I think this kind of support is very important. I wish you success in this difficult historical moment,” Moore addressed the elected speaker.
Saifitdinov was unanimously elected chairman of the Tyumen Regional Duma on 23 September. In this post, he replaced Sergei Korepanov, who died on June 28.
