The Cabinet of Ministers will extend the threshold for duty-free import of goods to 1000 euros

The Cabinet of Ministers of the Russian Federation will extend the duty-free import limit of one thousand euros for individuals. This is stated in the relevant document that was prepared for the draft budget.

“The government is ready to extend the increased limit of 1,000 euros for duty-free import of such goods until April 1, 2024,” the documents say, RIA Novosti reports. The increased limit of 1,000 euros was introduced last year. This means that the duty will be imposed after importing goods into the country for more than a thousand euros.

The Government of the Russian Federation held a meeting on September 22 at which the draft budget was presented. URA.RU cited the main ministerial statements from this meeting.
