The budget surplus for January-May amounted to almost 1.5 trillion rubles

The federal budget surplus for January-May, according to preliminary data from the Ministry of Finance, amounted to over 1 trillion 495 billion rubles. This is stated in the materials published on the website of the ministry.

According to the Ministry of Finance, the federal budget for January-May, according to preliminary estimates, was executed in terms of revenue by 48.1%, or by 12 trillion 43 billion 333.7 million rubles, of the total revenue approved for 2022. In terms of expenditures, by 44.5%, or by 10 trillion 547 billion 944.6 million rubles, to the total volume of budget expenditures for 2022. This was reported on the website of the Ministry of Finance.

Most of the revenue came from the Federal Tax Service. It accounts for 8 trillion 348 billion rubles, or 49.7% of the forecast indicators of budget revenues for 2022. The Federal Customs Service transferred over 3 trillion 100 billion rubles, or 49.8% of the forecast figures. Other federal bodies account for an amount of 595 billion 137 million rubles, or 29.6% of the forecast indicators of federal budget revenues for this year.

Earlier, the Chairman of the Accounts Chamber Alexei Kudrin said that the Accounts Chamber found violations of 676.5 billion rubles in the execution of the budget for 2021, most of them were eliminated.
