
The brother of State Duma deputy Vladimir Burmatov, Vyacheslav Burmatov, has lost his position as Vice-Rector for Youth Policy and Social Affairs at South Ural State University. His place was taken by the new vice-rector Anton Manuilov. Information about personnel changes at the largest university is posted on the SUSU website.
“At a meeting of the Academic Council, on April 25, SUSU Rector Alexander Vagner presented the updated vice-rector staff to the university staff. New people in the team is a strengthening of the potential for the further development of SUSU. These specialists come to solve important problems — to analyze the situation, generate new ideas, develop modern approaches to their implementation,” says the SUSU website.
The SUSU Rector announced the names of two new vice-rectors. These are Alexander Gollai, Vice-Rector for Digital Transformation at SUSU, and Anton Manuilov, Vice-Rector for Youth Policy and Social Affairs. The latter replaced Vyacheslav Burmatov at his post.
The reasons for the change of Vyacheslav Burmatov as vice-rector are not reported. The press service of SUSU did not answer the call to URA.RU. It was also not possible to get through to Vyacheslav Burmatov.
Burmatov was appointed Vice-Rector of SUSU in August 2018. The younger brother of a State Duma deputy replaced in this position the chairman of the Public Chamber of the Chelyabinsk Region Oleg Dubrovin, who resigned from the university in order to become the general director of the pro-governor media holding OblTV.
