Coimbatore: Podanur police to arrest college student three special teams has been formed. Say this student attacked a 20-year-old girl multiple times with a knife in Sundarapuram a day earlier on Saturday. Police said the injured girl, a resident of Podanur, had dropped out of her B.Com studies this year. She was studying from a private college. The accused was a classmate of the girl and used to study with her.

They both loved each other. According to the police, the girl had stopped talking to her boyfriend Sriram a few months ago and had joined a travel company in Sundarapuram. Saturday afternoon, when she was alone in the office. Only then did Shriram reach there, after which an argument broke out between the two. During the argument, the accused lost his temper. And he took a knife from his pocket and stabbed it in his face. Because of this he suffered serious injuries on his face.

When the victim called for help. So the people around arrived at the spot. Meanwhile, Shriram fled the scene. Giving information about the case, a police officer said that the girl has been admitted to Coimbatore Medical College for treatment.
Based on the victim’s complaint, the police registered a case against the accused under sections 294 (b), 324 and 506 (ii) of the IPC and the Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act. Let us tell you that further investigation into the matter is ongoing.
