The bodies of two tourists from Russia were found in India

The naked bodies of two Russian tourists – a 37-year-old man and a 21-year-old girl – were found in the Parvati Valley in the Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh (India). The Times of India newspaper reports this.

“Police found bodies floating in a hot spring pool in Tegri. “Both of them had mobile phones and passports nearby,” it says in the newspaper material.

Police also found a note believed to be written by the deceased. It says that the phone needs to be sent to her family in Russia. The police are investigating how the tourists died.

“Initially, we suspected it was a double murder, but after finding the recordings, we are investigating whether it was a suicide pact. This could also be a case of drug overdose. We are checking all versions,” the police said, the newspaper reports. It is noted that the Russian embassy was informed about the deaths.
