US President Joe Biden stated that Israeli forces in the Gaza Strip have discovered the bodies of six hostages held by the Palestinian movement Hamas, among the victims is one US citizen.
“Earlier today, in a tunnel under the city of Rafah, Israeli forces found the bodies of six hostages held by Hamas. We have confirmed that one of the hostages… was a US citizen, Hersch Goldberg-Polin,” reads the statement from Biden on the White House website.
