The board of directors of TCS Group, which owns Tinkoff Bank (MOEX: TCSG), was headed by the ex-head of Mastercard in Russia Alexey Malinovsky. This was stated in a company statement on website public information disclosure center.
“The Board of Directors has appointed Alexey Malinovsky, who currently holds the position of independent non-executive director, as Chairman of the Board of Directors,” the material says.
Mr. Malinovsky replaced Konstantinos Economides as head of the board of directors – he held this post for 15 years. In July 2023, Alexey Malinovsky joined the board of directors of TCS Group Holding.
On October 13, TCS Group announced that it would hold a general meeting of shareholders on November 21, which will consider granting the board of directors the right to repurchase shares or depositary receipts. On November 7, the head of the company’s board of directors, Konstantinos Economides, left his position. On November 10, TCS Group announced plans to change jurisdiction – the company is now based in Cyprus.
