Governor of the Belgorod region Vyacheslav Gladkov said that yesterday, May 29, in his region was “one of the most stressful situations for power supply facilities.” According to him, the situation is still difficult. In this regard, he, together with the general director of Rosseti Igor Makovsky and the management of Belgorodenergo, drew up a “risk chart”.
“Yesterday, there was one of the most tense situations for energy supply facilities in the region. And our power engineers, risking their lives, did the almost impossible – after a large amount of damage, they restored power supply and returned light to the houses of Belgorod residents, ”he wrote in Telegram.
Due to the drone attack on May 29 in the Shebekinsky district of the Belgorod region, about 2.5 thousand residents were left without electricity. At night, the power engineers did not have time to restore power supply, because during the night, during the repair, they were attacked several times by drones.
“But the situation is difficult. Therefore, we are jointly developing a risk scheme and simulating options for working out a particular situation that may be in any of the border municipalities,” the governor added.
On May 29, in Shebekino, drones attacked two industrial enterprises, in one of them a case with paint and varnish liquids caught fire. In the evening, the Shebekinsky district was shelled for more than an hour: a man was killed. On May 30, a temporary accommodation center came under fire, where there were evacuated residents of the village of Shebekinsky district. One person died, two were injured.
