The bank created by the BRICS countries intends to study the fulfillment of obligations to the Russian Federation

The New Development Bank (NDB), which was created by the BRICS countries, which now includes Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa, intends to study the fulfillment of its obligations to Moscow. This was stated by the vice-president of the financial organization Vladimir Kazbekov.

“Russia plays an important role in decision-making processes. Given this special role as a founding country, the special role of Russia, the NDB intends to study the implementation of its obligations in accordance with the restrictions imposed on the international financial and capital markets,” — leads RT his words.

Recall that the decision to create the NDB within the framework of the BRICS was taken in 2013 in Durban (South Africa). At the inaugural meeting of the Board of Governors of the bank on July 7, 2015 in Moscow, the work of this institution officially started. The main goal of the organization is to mobilize resources for projects in the field of infrastructure and sustainable development in the BRICS member countries and developing countries.
