The authorities of the Perm region named dangerous districts affected by child crime

In the Perm Territory, over the 10 months of 2023, the juvenile crime rate increased by almost a quarter. According to the first deputy minister of territorial security of the region, Albert Mardanov, growth was noted in 19 territories. The situation is worst in Lysva, Chusovoy, as well as Karagay, Perm and Elovsky districts, he said at a meeting of the crime prevention commission in the Perm Territory.

“Albert Mardanov focused the attention of those present on the increase in juvenile crime over 10 months by 23.7%, including those committed while intoxicated. A negative trend is developing in 19 territories of the subject, the largest increase was allowed in the Lysvensky and Chusovsky urban districts, Karagai, Perm and Elovsky municipalities,” the Ministry of Interbez told reporters.

In 2023, police stopped 1,691 administrative offenses related to alcohol consumption by minors. Every second of them was committed by teenagers under 16 years of age.
