The authorities of the Lipetsk region warned residents of the region against accepting parcels from strangers

Residents of the Lipetsk region are not recommended to accept parcels from strangers. This was reported by representatives of the regional administration.

It is noted that such shipments may contain ammunition and threatening notes. The authorities are asking residents of the Lipetsk region not to accept any packages from strangers, and also not to touch suspicious items found in public places.

“If you find suspicious objects on the street, in transport, institutions or entrances, in no case do not touch them. Do not use technical devices, cell phones near such objects,” the government said.

The administration added that over the past 24 hours, special services have visited the residents of the region who received such parcels several times. If any suspicious items are found, authorities are asking citizens to call 112 and the police.
