The authorities of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug have begun preparations for the construction of a new road to Yekaterinburg: from the village of Kuminsky, Kondinsky district, to the border with the Sverdlovsk region. The government procurement website states that the Ugra Road Administration has entered into a contract to conduct research on the territory where the highway will be built.

“The Ugra Highway Administration has entered into a contract with Stroyusluga LLC to conduct engineering surveys for the construction of the Highway Village facility. Kuminsky is the border of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug-Ugra and the Sverdlovsk Region.” The contract price is 18,000,000 rubles,” the documents indicate.

The deadline for completing the work under the contract is December 5, 2023. According to the terms of the technical specifications, the section of the road from the village of Kuminsky to the border of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug must be combined with the route being designed on the territory of the Sverdlovsk region on the instructions of the authorities of the neighboring region. The list of works included geological, geodetic, environmental and hydrometeorological studies of the territory through which the road will pass. The Stroyusluga company from Surgut also carried out engineering surveys for the repair of roads in Surgut and the bypass road in Raduzhny.

The agency sent a request to the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug Road Administration with a request to disclose details of the surveys carried out and further plans for road construction. At the time of publication of the news, there was no response.

Earlier, URA.RU wrote that the new road from Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug to Yekaterinburg will shorten the journey by several hours. About 20 km will be built from the district to the border with the Sverdlovsk region, and the authorities of the Sverdlovsk region will build about 60 km of road.
