Rogov: the attack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Pohovsky district of Zaporozhye was repulsed, some of the opponents were destroyed
Volodymyr Rogov, a member of the main council of the administration of the Zaporozhye region, said that the attack of Ukrainian troops in the Pologovsky district of the region was repulsed. Some of the opponents were destroyed, the rest returned to their original positions, he noted in his Telegram channel.
“The attack was repulsed, some of the militants were destroyed, the other part returned to their original positions. The territory was not missed, the situation is under control, the enemy will not pass!” Rogov wrote.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine were opposed by soldiers of the 219th motorized rifle regiment of the 42nd guards motorized rifle division of the 58th Russian Armed Forces.
According to a representative of the regional administration, the Kiev regime is deploying additional forces to the Zaporozhye direction. We are talking about the arrival of more than five thousand people on the front line in the coming weeks. Among them will be the military, who were trained abroad – in Poland, Germany and the UK.
Earlier, Rogov noted that in the Pologovsky district, the Armed Forces of Ukraine undertook reconnaissance in combat using armored vehicles.
