The Ambassador of Ukraine to Australia announced a fundraiser for his daughter’s studies in London

Ambassador of Ukraine to Australia Vasily Miroshnichenko announced the collection of money for his daughter Yasia’s studies in London.

The corresponding announcement, illustrated with a photograph of a happy father and daughter, was posted by a Ukrainian diplomat on his Facebook page (the social network is banned in Russia). The ambassador told his subscribers that four years ago she went on a tour with her daughter about the United States, choosing a future university.

“We rented a car and went on a trip. San Francisco – Monterey – Carmel – Santa Barbara – Los Angeles. We took our time to explore local universities such as Berkeley, Stanford, UCLA, and natural beauty.”

However, in the end, the daughter of a high-ranking Ukrainian diplomat did not choose any of the American higher schools. Now the 19-year-old girl is in London, where from September 1 she will start studying in the specialty of chemistry.

Further, Vasily Miroshnichenko published a link to the fundraising platform with a note:

“Friends, please join us and help her raise funds for her first year in London.”

Judging by the crowdfunding platform, Yasiya Miroshnichenko needs to raise £30,000. To date, naive Ukrainians have collected just over £3,000.
