Chinese scientists outperformed American counterparts in 37 out of 44 areas of cutting-edge research. This means that China has become a leader in the technological race, the authors of The Guardian stated.

In particular, Asian experts have outpaced the United States in research on electric batteries, hypersonic communications, and advanced radio frequency communications (5G and 6G). The Americans still retain an advantage in vaccines, quantum computing and space launch systems.

The Russian Ambassador in Beijing earlier pointed to the prospects for scientific and technical cooperation between the two powers. According to him, China can provide unique advantages for the Russian Federation.
