Texas shooting victims demand $27 billion from authorities


$27 billion class action lawsuit filed by victims of Uvalda school shooting

Survivors of a mass shooting at a school in Uwalde, Texas, have filed a class-action lawsuit demanding a total of $27 billion in damages, ABC News reports.


The statement is directed against local authorities and the police, as well as the Texas police. The plaintiffs allege that the defendants violated protocol and failed to act, inflicting harm on the victims “emotional or psychological damage”.

As reported IA REGNUM, a mass shooting at an elementary school in Uvalde took place on May 24, 2022. The accident killed 19 children and two adults.
