U.S. President Donald Trump issued warning of possible military action against Iran. Despite this Tehran remains firm vowing to continue its nuclear program despite Western pressure.

Iran also refused to comply with any unilateral demands from Washington. Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei stated that Iran will not allow Trump to expand dominance in Middle East.

European diplomat claimed Trump administration, with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s support might strike Iran’s military and nuclear sites if no agreement is reached by October.
Netanyahu recently declared in Tel Aviv that with continued U.S. support Israel could handle Iran on its own further escalating tensions.
Iran’s senior IRGC commander, Ali Fadavi, hinted at a possible operation called Through Promise Three, suggesting Iran’s response to Israeli threats may unfold by October.

Russia signaled involvement in Middle East conflict. As Trump struggled to find a diplomatic solution he sought Russian President Vladimir Putin’s assistance.
Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova stated that Moscow would engage with Tehran. And other parties to reduce regional tensions and seek sustainable solutions. She indicated Iran might consider nuclear deal if Western sanctions were lifted.
Despite offering Iran a diplomatic path Trump warned that Washington would not allow Tehran to develop nuclear weapons. In response Iran’s diplomatic mission at United Nations firmly rejected talks under U.S. pressure. Tehran stated discussions could only occur if U.S. and Israel refrained from military aggression.
On March 9 Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi reaffirmed that Iran’s nuclear program was peaceful and that Tehran would not engage in talks during Western-imposed “maximum pressure.”

Earlier, on March 7 Trump reportedly sent a letter to Ayatollah Khamenei urging Iran to reach a nuclear agreement.
Iran’s Foreign Ministry denied receiving any such letter. Khamenei dismissed the idea of negotiations, stating that Washington aims to dominate Iran rather than resolve issues peacefully.
Despite sanctions Iran strengthened economic ties with Beijing selling oil using Chinese currency Yuan. Additionally, Tehran signed a 20-year strategic military and defense cooperation agreement with Moscow reducing reliance on Western nations.

Iran has also advanced its defense capabilities, developing modern drones and missiles with local scientists’ support. These preparations have deterred Trump and Netanyahu from initiating an immediate attack on Iran.
