Telangana BJP leader NV Subhash has targeted Congress over Priyanka Gandhi’s recent visit to UP. A BJP leader on Monday said Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi is changing her complexion like a ‘chameleon’ to woo voters ahead of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections. Subhash’s remarks came after Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi offered prayers at the Kashi Vishwanath temple and Maa Durga temple in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.

He also said that Congress MLAs are taking political advantage of Lakhimpur Kheri incident. Talking to news agency ANI, the BJP leader said, ‘Priyanka Gandhi started praising Hinduism. The Gandhi family never thought of Hindu families. Priyanka Gandhi married a Christian, her mother is a Christian and her grandfather is a Muslim.

‘Using peasant movement for political gains’

The BJP leader further said that she (Priyanka Gandhi) played all this game keeping in mind the 2022 Uttar Pradesh assembly elections. Which shows how the Congress party was using the farmers’ movement for its political gains. Suddenly, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi have started becoming Hindus by visiting temples in Uttar Pradesh. His recent UP visit was an election gimmick. Telangana BJP said that the BJP will return to power with a thumping majority. There was a rally in PM Modi’s parliamentary constituency
