Waving national flags and holding placards with images of captives, protesters demanded an end to the ongoing conflict and the safe return of those detained by Hamas. The demonstration marked a resumption of protests after a two-week pause due to recent Israel-Iran tensions.

The rally, led primarily by women—many of them mothers of Israeli soldiers—highlighted a growing public call for a ceasefire to secure the hostages’ release. Organizers emphasized that the diplomatic climate following Israel’s operations in Iran presents a historic opportunity to resolve the crisis. “We believe now is the time to end the Gaza war and bring all hostages home,” one speaker said, reflecting widespread public support for a resolution.

U.S. President Donald Trump, via his Truth Social platform, urged Israel and Hamas to reach an agreement to free the captives. Media reports indicate that U.S. and Israel are jointly exploring negotiation efforts, with hostage families planning a meeting with Trump to discuss progress. While no official breakthrough has been announced, the push for a deal remains strong.

Protesters stressed one goal: resolving the conflict to ensure every hostage returns home. The renewed demonstrations signal a unified demand for action as Israel navigates complex regional dynamics.
