Taxi drivers from the Omsk region began going to Tyumen to work

Drivers of the taxi aggregator “Yandex.Go” from the Omsk region began traveling to Tyumen to earn money. The owner of one of the local taxi companies told URA.RU about this.

“Taxi drivers from neighboring regions used to come to the Tyumen region to earn money. But now this phenomenon has become widespread. Omsk residents work on a “shift basis”: they come for two to three weeks, rent housing and work almost around the clock. The break, one might say, is only for sleep,” the agency’s interlocutor said.

According to him, Omsk taxi drivers in the Tyumen region are attracted by high wages and high-quality roads. “It’s easier for them to make money here. Tyumen residents, as a rule, do not save on taxis and often leave tips to the drivers. In addition, we have high-quality roads. This means that after the “watch” you won’t have to spend a lot of money on car repairs. Local taxi drivers practically do not notice competition with Omsk residents, because there are not enough taxi drivers in the Tyumen region,” an insider told URA.RU.

Earlier, the agency wrote that in Tyumen, Yandex.Go taxi drivers began to turn on airplane mode on their mobile phones in order not to fulfill orders that they did not like. According to URA.RU sources, when using this method of refusing applications, drivers do not lose their rating in the aggregator application, which is necessary for work.
