Baywatch cast: Then and now | Pamela Anderson, David Hasselhoff and more

Straight after Baywatch, Anderson starred in the action-comedy V.I.P. for four seasons, playing a woman who accidentally saves a celebrity and then is hired by a bodyguard.

In 2003, she then reprised her role as CJ in the TV movie, Baywatch: Hawaiian Wedding and also made a cameo in the 2017 Baywatch movie adaptation starring Zac Efron.

Anderson has since become known for her human and animal rights activism, working with People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) and her own charity, the Pamela Anderson Foundation. In 2015, she launched her own online cooking show, The Sensual Vegan.

With her private life, Anderson’s been through every scandal in the book: a rocky marriage to Mötley Crüe’s Tommy Lee from 1995 to 1998, resulting in his arrest for spousal abuse; a sex tape leak; multiple reunions and breakups with Lee; and a bitter custody battle over their sons, Brandon and Dylan.

In 2022, there was a renewed interest in her personal life with Lee, thanks to the mini-series titled Pam & Tommy. The show revisits the period after the exes’ infamous wedding and honeymoon, during which they made a sex tape that was stolen and later leaked online.

Anderson didn’t want to be consulted for the series as it was a very painful period for her to relive.

“It was already hurtful enough the first time. It’s like one of those things where you’re going, ‘Really? People are still capitalising off that thing?’” she wrote in a New York Times essay in January 2023, weeks ahead of the release of her memoir, Love, Pamela and Netflix doc, Pamela, A Love Story.
