Varun Gandhi BJP MP 4 things he would do if he was Education Minister

Varun Gandhi News: BJP MP Varun Gandhi has been raising his voice against the schemes of his own government. From CM Yogi Adityanath to PM Narendra Modi, he has written letters on many issues. Speculations are rife that he may take important steps regarding his political future before the next Lok Sabha elections. Recently, Varun claimed that he was offered ministerial berth twice, but he turned it down. In the same programme, BJP MP Varun also told what works he would have done if he had been the education minister.

In the ThinkEdge Conclave of ‘The New Indian Express’, Varun Gandhi was asked what four things he would do if he were the Education Minister. He said that first of all he would have changed the curriculum and increased the number of teachers. Thereafter, he would spend the money on skilling the people. Only 4% of the Indian workforce is skilled, as opposed to 94% in South Korea. In addition, they promote vocational education as is the case in South Korea and Germany.

“Once you complete your education, you can take another three to five years for vocational education. He said that all the youth should know that out of all the government jobs that have been created in the last five years, 79% are contractual jobs. They’re not real jobs, they don’t have pensions, they don’t have any social security benefits.

The BJP MP said that the bill that I have presented in the Parliament says to identify vacancies in a time-bound manner and then conduct exams and give jobs to the youth within 45 to 60 days. I have put it forward and I have talked to some ministers on this. He has also promised to create new jobs.

Varun Gandhi made a big claim regarding the post of minister
Varun Gandhi has not held any ministerial post in both the terms of the NDA government. Because of this, it was being claimed in many reports that Varun’s alleged displeasure was behind not being made a minister. Now he has claimed that he was asked to become a minister twice, but he turned it down. MP Varun Gandhi said, “I have turned down ministership twice, which most people don’t know about.” Asked whether anyone felt offended when he turned down the ministerial berth, Varun Gandhi said, “If you say things to someone respectfully, if their respect is maintained, and if there is logic in your statements, then people Have heart.”
