Suspicious Chinese national caught by BSF at India-Bangladesh border, inquiry continues

The Border Security Force (BSF) has apprehended a Chinese national from the India-Bangladesh border. When he could not give a satisfactory answer when asked, he was handed over to the security agencies. At present, he is being interrogated.

Officials said that on Thursday, the BSF caught the suspect at the International Border in Malda district of West Bengal. When questioned, he could not give a satisfactory answer. He was handed over to the local police and intelligence agencies for further action.

The age of the person arrested at 6 am on Thursday is 35 years. In the investigation, a laptop, Chinese passport and some other items have been found from that Chinese national. More details will be available only after the inquiry is completed.
