Sullivan said that the United States does not see a change in the readiness of Russian nuclear forces

The United States does not see any change in the readiness of Russian nuclear forces, and Washington has not changed the readiness of its forces either. This was stated in an interview with CNN television channel US national security adviser Jake Sullivan.

“I can only speak about what we see. And we do not see any changes in the readiness of Russian nuclear forces. We also did not make changes in the readiness of our nuclear forces,” said Sullivan, answering the question whether he considers it possible for Russia to use nuclear weapons.

Sullivan confirmed that at the moment the United States “does not observe movements of Russian nuclear forces that would indicate a fundamental change compared to the way things have been over the past year.”

He noted that the US authorities “remain vigilant” and also continue to maintain channels of communication with Moscow to discuss possible risks.
