Storm blocks public transport in Bucharest


A strong storm, accompanied by hail and heavy rain, partially blocked public transport in the Romanian capital. This was reported on June 14 by the Bucharest television channel Digi24.

According to eyewitnesses, dozens of trams stopped because of the flooding of lines, as a result of wire breaks, trolleybus traffic was stopped in a number of areas, and water gushing through the underpass flooded the Valya Yalomei central metro station.
