The northern capital signed agreements for more than half a trillion rubles during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. This was announced on June 18 in Smolny by the governor of St. Petersburg, Alexander Beglov, summing up the results of the work within the framework of the forum.
He noted that representatives of more than 140 countries and territories came to the event.
According to him, those agreements in the areas of urban infrastructure development, transport, healthcare, science, education, development of IT technologies and industry are attracting investments that make it possible to develop our existing production facilities, create high-tech highly paid jobs and develop science.
“Science comes first for us,” the head of the city added.
