Participants of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) will discuss the scale of economic changes in the world, as well as try to soberly and comprehensively comprehend the situation with sanctions pressure on Russia, the presidential aide for international affairs told reporters Yuri Ushakov.

“The forum will have to analyze the scale of socio-economic changes in the world, soberly and comprehensively comprehend the ongoing situation with sanctions pressure on our country, given that this sanctions pressure is unlikely to be short-term,” Ushakov said.

According to him, the forum will also provide additional considerations on how Russia “move forward in a radically changed economic and political environment.”

The jubilee XXV St. Petersburg International Economic Forum will be held in St. Petersburg from 15 to 18 June.
