Speaker of the Serbian Parliament thanked Russia for supporting the country’s territorial integrity

Chairman of the National Assembly (Parliament) of Serbia Vladimir Orlich informed the Russian Ambassador to Belgrade Alexander Botsan-Kharchenko about the situation in Kosovo and Metohija and thanked Moscow for supporting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Balkan republic.

“You have heard (Serbian President) Aleksandar Vučić and his message to (Prime Minister of the unrecognized Kosovo Albin) Kurti that he does not think of harming any Serb, because in that case our people and our country will be able to answer him. This is a message to them from all of us. Whole Serbia,” the press service of the Serbian parliament quoted Orlic as saying.

It is noted that the interlocutors also discussed the 60th meeting of the Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation, which will be held in Belgrade. Representatives of both chambers of the Federal Assembly are expected to take part in the forum. In addition, they talked about the group of parliamentary friendship with Russia recently formed in the Serbian Assembly.

Earlier, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said that the Serbs no longer intend to tolerate the terror of Pristina and its Prime Minister Albin Kurti, which led to a serious escalation of tension in the region.
