Chairman of the legislative assembly of the Chelyabinsk region Alexander Lazarev will leave his post in the near future. This was announced on June 7 by a URA.RU source in the ZSO.
“Lazarev has already written a statement. It remains to set the date of the meeting, where the deputies will vote on this issue. Most likely, this will happen at the next session on June 28. He will be offered a new job, ”said the insider.
Lazarev was elected speaker of the ZSO in 2021, after the elections to the new Legislative Assembly and the transfer of its chairman Vladimir Myakush to another job. Before working in parliament, he was the mayor of Yuzhnouralsk.
Relations between the chairman and deputies of the Chelyabinsk parliament deteriorated sharply in the spring, resulting in the first disruption of a meeting of the ZSO in 27 years. The governor’s political bloc demanded that Lazarev resolve all conflicts by the end of June, but an acceptable result could not be achieved. The press service did not answer the call of the URA.RU correspondent.
