Spanish police: parcels with explosives were sent from the city of Valladolid

The Spanish police believe that the previously sent packages with explosives were sent from the city of Valladolid. This is reported by the newspaper El Mundo.

Sources said that law enforcement officers have not yet been able to find out who carried out the attack and sent explosives.

On Wednesday, an explosion occurred at the Ukrainian embassy in Madrid. The package with a homemade bomb was opened by an embassy employee. He received a minor injury to his right arm.

Spanish authorities are treating the incident as a terrorist attack. A package with an explosive device was previously intercepted at the US Embassy in Madrid. The police “activated the anti-terrorism protocol” of action after that.
