Spanish police detained Ukrainians extorting money from compatriots


    Spanish law enforcement officers detained members of a Ukrainian criminal group who extorted money from compatriots. This is stated in statement Kingdom National Police on Twitter.

    “Four members of a Ukrainian criminal group were detained, extorting money from compatriots using excessive violence,” said in the message.

    The department added that in May of this year in the city of Benidorm, members of the group robbed three women who, according to law enforcement officers, arrived in Spain after fleeing due to the military conflict in Ukraine.
