The deputies of the Moscow Regional Duma will consider a bill that will exempt some families with many children from the transport tax. This was told by the speaker of the regional parliament Igor Bryntsalov.
Large families with children under 23 who study full-time will be exempt from tax on one car with a capacity of up to 250 horsepower. Previously, this support measure was provided to families with children under 18 years of age.
“Last year, more than 48,000 families used the exemption for the 2021 tax period in the Moscow Region. If the bill is adopted, about 14,000 families with many children will additionally be able to use the benefit,” Bryntsalov said.
The project will be discussed on June 1.
Earlier, the Governor of the Moscow Region, Andrey Vorobyov, said that the children of SVO participants and children from low-income families will be able to relax this summer for free.
