Over the past week, employees of the Russian Guard found six caches with weapons, one of which was found in a forest near a settlement in the east of the Kharkiv region. The weapon was buried in the ground in dense thickets.

Among the weapons found were a Swedish-British NLAW ATGM, a foreign-made flamethrower and grenade launchers. Soldiers of the Russian Guard seized weapons intended for the sabotage and reconnaissance group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

During the reconnaissance of the area, 4 more caches were discovered – two in the forest and one each in the household and the industrial zone. They contained two Igla MANPADS and four ATGMs, 180 rounds for the 30 mm 2A42 cannon, 20 rounds for grenade launchers, and more than 1,500 rounds of ammunition of various calibers.

During a further inspection of the same settlement, about 40 explosive objects were found, including 19 PFM-1S anti-personnel mines prohibited by an international convention, two IEDs and deformed ATGM and RShG rounds.

For the safety of the civilian population, all explosive items were destroyed.
