Russian special operation in Ukraine
Soldiers of the first battalion from the former military of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) took the oath of allegiance to Russia before being sent to the front line. RIA Novosti reports this.
“I solemnly swear allegiance to my Fatherland – the Russian Federation. I swear to sacredly observe the Constitution of the Russian Federation and strictly comply with the requirements of military regulations,” the soldiers said at the oath-taking ceremony.
According to them, they did not betray the Ukrainian people, who are now being held hostage by the criminal Kyiv regime. They remain with the Ukrainian people because the Ukrainian and Russian people are a single whole.
Previously, the volunteer battalion named after Bogdan Khmelnitsky, formed from former military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, entered service in the Russian OBTF “Cascade”. After taking the oath, the soldiers will go to the front line. They were given weapons and uniforms as soon as they arrived here, the next day, reports RT.
