He stressed that up to 50,000 Ukrainian soldiers are constantly stationed in the area of ​​the city, while on the territory of Artemivsk itself there are from 12,000 to 20,000.

According to him, such an accumulation of enemy forces is connected with preparations for a counteroffensive in order to inflict serious blows on the grouping of a private military company.

“In the Artemovsk region, the plans of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for today are four strikes: two strikes will fall on the flanks plus two strikes that cut through our grouping. They plan, of course, to cut off the Wagner PMC grouping and thus reduce the tasks that we perform in Artemovsk to zero, ”Prigozhin said.

The entrepreneur added that in addition to the strikes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, they are ready to bring another 20,000 servicemen to the place, thereby increasing the total number of manpower to 70,000 people. Prigozhin noted that Artemovsk has become “a place where armies meet.”

While the APU continues to hold Artemovsk. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky previously called the city an important transport hub for supplying Ukrainian forces in Donbass.
